NOLA c-art app for iPhone and iPad

NOLA c-art is a mobile app guide to contemporary visual art in New Orleans, providing a curated one-stop source for the latest information on art venues and events in the city. The app is designed and managed by local art insiders and is updated daily.

New Orleans is in the top three favorite cities to visit in the United States. Added to this is its growing reputation as a contemporary art mecca, especially since the advent of Prospect, an international art triennial taking place in the city since 2008. Contemporary art lovers will quickly be able to locate galleries, museums and public art wherever they may be in the city by clicking the “Map” icon.

The map is color coded by specific area of interest: contemporary art galleries, museums, academic institutions, photography spaces, public art, folk and outsider art galleries, and related points of interest, with weblinks to each venue’s website when available.
